A Letter to the Jonsson-Goods\' Billet Hosts,

Hi! We\'re the Jonsson-Goods: Linnea and David, Linnea Good - David Jonsson, Patrick (born Jan \'97), Nicole (born Oct \'98) and Isaac (born Aug \'02).

We are looking forward to staying overnight at your home!

Here\'s what it\'s usually like:

We arrive at the concert venue about 3 1/2-4 hours before the show start-time, and do a complete set up before supper (at 2 hours before the concert). The children and our childcare techie play in the nursery at the venue, if there is one, until dinner and leave the venue after the meal for your home (about 1 hour before concert time).

We would really appreciate it if you might find a way to have them escorted to your house at that time, orient our childcare person to your home, help them carry a suitcase or two and allow the children to get settled in. We don\'t need you to stay with them for the whole evening (we would hate to make you miss the concert!).

Linnea and David will stay to meet people and then tear down the concert set after the event. This almost always takes up to 31/2 hours after the concert start time. It would be a great help (again) to have someone escort us to your home at that hour. Alternatively, written directions would help us find you. (Spoken directions could be dangerous at that hour..!). We do travel with a GPS navigating unit, so we may find that its directions are sufficient.

The Jonsson-Goods need only one or two rooms, with one double bed for Linnea, David. The children bring their own bed/bedrolls.

We are fairly simple eaters, preferring cereal and toast, hot oatmeal or eggs for breakfast. We appreciate food that is natural, without additives or sugar. We have no food or animal allergies.

It is also our family routine not to watch television, or play with computers or electronics first thing in the morning. Anything you can do to support us in this would be much appreciated.

On a normal day, we might ask to stay at your home until we leave for our next venue anywhere from 10am to 1pm. Please let us know if you have time constraints. We might ask you for directions out of town.

Again, thank you so much in advance for your hospitality. We are striving to be a simple family to host (hahaha!) but until that time, we hope that advance planning will help us all out.
