Technical Specifications for Specially Hosted Occasions
This is a list the technical requirements for hosting a concert. Please feel free to print this page or to download the PDF version to refer or to print later.
Linnea Good and Good Company travel with a complete complement of equipment to give a performance.
We would always need from the host:
* a real, in-tune piano
* a stage large enough for a duo or trio (who don't move much in performance)
Under special circumstances, especially when a concert is not part of a full tour itinerary, we may require the host to provide the following:
Drums (Most any brand name will suffice; these sizes are preferred.)
20" Bass Drum
14" Floor Tom w/legs
10" Tom or 12" Tom (single rack tom kit is all that is required)
5" (or 5 1/2") Snare Drum (w/ "rough" coat batter head) with stand
Cymbals (with appropriate stands; Sabian brand preferred)
(1) 18" to 21" Ride (boom stand required)
(1) 14" or 16" Thin Crash
2-14" Hi Hats
Pearl (or equivalent) Hi-Hat stand
Pearl Chain Drive Pedal
Adjustable Drum Throne
Sound Equipment
6 channel powered mixer ("bi" amp) w/ reverb, graphic EQ;
200-300 watt output (100-150 watts a side)
2 PA (main) speakers (12"- 15" with horn, with stands and 20' or
more cabling)
5 microphones (Shure SM 58 or equivalent) and microphone stands (with
boom attachments and microphone clips)
OR: 3 microphones with stands & booms and 1 PZM piano microphone
2 or 3 monitor speakers (most any kind will do) with cables
When we have a bass/guitar player with us:
1 small bass amplifier with a 15-inch speaker
2 direct boxes ("DI")
2 guitar stands
Lighting: our set-up is very basic, so more focussed spotlights
are welcome.
